The RECYCL'He service: how does it work?
Step 1
Recovery of degraded helium
We collect your residual helium directly from your site or facilities.
Step 2
Purification and recycling
The recovered helium is then processed at one of our dedicated sites. It is separated from impurities (other gases) to achieve a purity of >95%.
Etape 3
Revaluation
This recycled helium is given a second life: it can then be used by new helium consumers under the same conditions as imported native helium.

Mobile solution
Our mobile unit comes directly to your site and recovers helium from your captive balloon, gasometer, or any other installation.
Stationnary solution
We install a fixed and autonomous system that recovers helium after use. This helium is then collected at regular intervals by 45-8 ENERGY.

A project supported by
45-8 ENERGY has received a grant of 439,000 euros to support the development of its mobile helium recycling unit.
Within the France 2030 Plan, a call for projects “AAP Innovation Project PIA4” was launched by the French government and th Grand Est region. This action is in line with the desire to support the projects of regional innovative companies to promote economic development support for innovation and employment in the Grand Est region.
